Shannon is a proud Calgarian, born and raised in the city she continues to serve with dedication and care. She holds a Bachelor of Science with a major in Zoology (2007) and a Juris Doctor (2012), both from the University of Calgary. Shannon began her legal career at a prominent international law firm, where she focused on corporate and commercial law and contributed to several multi-million-dollar transactions.
Although she valued her experience in corporate law, Shannon was drawn to more community-oriented work. She transitioned into a wills and estates practice, later joining a mid-sized firm to continue providing personalized legal support to individuals and families. In 2019, Shannon expanded her expertise by completing a Master’s degree in Professional Accounting and Financial Planning in Australia.
Shannon’s diverse background includes several years of experience working in a family operated pharmacy during her studies. This experience shaped her ability to connect with clients from all walks of life and foster meaningful, lasting relationships. Her legal practice reflects this empathy, especially in areas such as wills and estates, dependent adult matters, and residential real estate.
Outside the office, Shannon enjoys exploring Calgary’s culinary scene, staying active through yoga and outdoor adventures, and trying new experiences. She takes every opportunity to visit the mountains, where she enjoys hiking and snowboarding.
